if you ask me i say no the reason why is because sony learns something new every time they make a new psp hackers have barely hacked the psp 3000 but you never know the new psp2 may have alot of flaws and get hacked the first day of the release i hope it is hacked so we can run homebrew, games, etc..

the most common game as of right now for the psp would have to be socom fireteam bravo 2 almost anyone you ask will have this game or atleast heard about it from a friend its popular because of its online features the game is only fun online the offline mode is not too hot alot of people are going to socom fireteam bravo 3 because of all the hackers

the playstation portable has been around for about 5 years the older versions of the psp are droping pretty fast because they are coming out with newer versions so less people buy the older versions the phat psp version is like 150.00 and might go down even more when the new psp2 is realeased i dont know the release date of the psp2 but i can tell you this its gonna have way more features then the older psp versions.

the psp2 will most likely cost around 250 dollars the reason why i say this is because the psp's that have came out lately are around that much i recommend waiting a little because they will drop the price of the psp2
